The Prominent Glass Suppliers

The glass suppliers deal in the complete spectrum of glass from commercial and residential to industrial. They off float laminated and toughened safety glass along with energy efficient, insulated glass units which are available in glazed, reflective, mirrored, painted, pattern screen-printed & low emissivity combinations. They are committed to adopting environmentally friendly practices and also to supplying only leading edge glass products which deliver outstanding energy efficiency and performance to their clients in Australia.

Glass is one of the most popular and widely utilised building materials used today. The most important reason for this is the constantly improving solar and thermal performance of glass. Solar energy comes in different spectrums namely Ultraviolet (UV) light, visible light and infrared (IR) light, the differences between the three being their wavelengths.

The Low-e coatings were developed to minimize the effect of the passage of ultraviolet and infrared light which can pass through glass without affecting the visibility of the glass. The Low-e glass has a transparent coating of thickness in microns which is even thinner than a human hair and which reflects the infrared energy or heat from the sun. Some Low E glass also reflects significant amounts of short-wave solar infrared energy. When the heat inside a room tries to escape to the cold weather outside during the winter, the low-e coating prevents the escape by reflecting the heat back, and thus preventing the radiant heat loss through the glass. The reverse happens during the summer time. Since the low-e glass consists of very thin layers of low emissivity materials, the coating reflects the inside temperatures thus keeping the room warm or cold.

Double glazing glass is made by joining two pieces of glass together with an air space in between. The double glazed window is fitted on the window frame in the same way as a normal single glazing but it provides a number of extra benefits. The double glazed glass can be used for keeping the home warmer, quieter, and reduces condensation.  The Double glazing glass helps to maintain a consistent temperature in the home all year round making it very comfortable. They are specifically designed to reduce heat loss from homes and buildings and they also perform many other benefits which include warmth in winter, cool in summer, reduction of condensation, reduction in energy usage, reduction in noise and also enhance the beauty of the building.

The glass suppliers also offer a wide range of safety glass products for total assurance of safety and security without compromising levels of natural daylight. This glass is used to protect a building and its occupants from accidental and deliberate damage in many ways, without compromising the bold and attractive designs. Safety legislation has made it mandatory for these glass panels to meet stringent requirements.
